RIAA Continues Plan To Sue Every American, 500 People At A Time
from the this-looks-familiar dept
It what looks like nearly an identical article to ones a few months back, the RIAA has announced that they’re suing another 500 or so people for offering up music from their computers. The problem with this AP article, though, is that it misses the big question. Earlier this month, a judge told the RIAA they needed to sue each swapper individually, and not bunch them all together in a single lawsuit. The article here doesn’t make it clear whether each of the 532 John Does named in the lawsuits were filed individually, or if they were batched. That’s where the story is on this news item, and the AP seems to have missed it.

No Subject Given
Fear is a very effective deterrent. I forget whose quote goes ‘Two things unite men, Fear and Greed’. The RIAA seems to have chosen both.
