Remote Support… On Mobile Phones
These days, it’s fairly common for IT support staff or broadband service providers to have some sort of “remote support” capabilities where they can (with permission) log into your computer from a remote location and see just how badly you’ve screwed things up. Now here’s a story about a company named Intuwave that has developed similar functionality for mobile phones. It takes a screenshot of what’s happening (rather than running full emulation, which is much more difficult) and ships it back to the support staff. It has some limitations from being mobile, but on the whole this sounds like a very useful idea.
