WiFi Billed To Your Mobile Phone Bill
While the news article here seems to bill it as a big deal, I’m not sure what’s so exciting about Canadian wireless carriers saying that they’ll now let users charge WiFi usage directly to their mobile phone bill. All they’re doing is offering an alternate form of payment – not “making WiFi easier” as the article suggests. Derek adds: Another Techdirt disagreement! I have a completely opposed opinion on this. Simplified, consistent payment terms and login pages do make WiFi easier. See comments section for more.
