Printer Firms Want Standard Method For Printing Camera Phone Pics

Because there just can’t be too many standards, HP, Epson and Canon are working together to come up with a standard for printing images from camera phones. The plan is to use already existing standards such as Bluetooth and PictBridge. It certainly makes sense to standardize this, though I’m still not convinced everyone wants to print out their camera phone photos. There’s nothing wrong with it, but I’m not sure it will be that big a deal.
