More Missing WiFi At WiFi Related Conferences
We’ve had stories of WiFi conferences having their own WiFi overloaded, but how about non-existent? You would think that people would check on these things. There was, apparently, a small conference about “WiFi on trains” held in London – at a hotel that claimed to offer WiFi. It even had the little BT OpenZone sign, but sitting down and trying to log in turned up no WiFi, other than on the computers of other attendees. Perhaps, before we focus on how to get WiFi on a moving train, people should focus on how to keep it running in a stationary spot.
