Don't Drink And Text: Intexticated Again?!?

There are plenty of things that don’t mix well with alcohol, and one of them appears to be text messaging. Emily, over at Textually.org, points out this latest article which coins the word “intexticated” for the practice of texting while under the influence – generally used in a regretful manner after the fact. While sometimes these involve messages you wished you’d never sent, they also seem to include the drunken button pressing that means you’ve sent a message to the wrong person. The article includes an example of a woman who sent a sexually explicit message to “Dad” rather than boyfriend “Dan”. Whoops. So, now that the holidays are here, a public service announcement from those of us at Techdirt: please, refrain from drinking and texting.
