Intel Wants Wireless Convergence

Intel has been hard at work on software defined radio solutions that will let single chips figure out the best wireless radio solution for a given situation and make it work. Thus, it’s no surprise to see an Intel spokesperson talking about the future of converged wireless ecosystems, where it’s not a question of WiFi vs. 3G, but using the right wireless solution for the right application in the right place.
