The Return Of Internet Advertising

One of the things that’s been driving the return of interest in the internet is the fact that, finally, the internet advertising market appears to be returning. Of course, a large part of the boost in online advertising revenue comes from paid search, with classified related advertising doing well also. Basic web banners and sponsorships are losing steam. This makes sense, since search and classified advertising reaches a much more “active” audience – people who are looking for something. The other forms of advertising focus on catching someone’s eye – which seems much less valuable.
