Sprint Providing WiFi Airport Security

WiFi goes to work again. While all the focus on WiFi continues to be on hotspots and ways for consumers to access the internet while out and about, increasingly we’re seeing stories of WiFi being used in the workplace (outside of office environments). The latest is that Sprint, along with Navigance, is going to provide WiFi based security systems to airports. What’s unclear, though, is how they’re going to handle security. I’m sure they have a good answer, but using WiFi certainly does open things up to make it somewhat easier for a random hacker to “tap into” the security video feeds.
