Well that was fast. For all the talk of how Verisign is breaking the internet, leave it to the techies to come up with a quick solution. The folks who developed BIND, the software for domain name directories, is frantically working on a patch that will allow ISPs to ignore Verisign’s hijacking of typo domains.

I thought this was about Verisign and advertising
until I read the Wired article explaining that their entry breaks BIND’s ability to detect a valid domain and verify if an email was possibly SPAM.
Now if only the Network Solutions SPAM would dissappear from my IN box…
