State Do Not Call List Gets Test – EchoStar Sued

from the might-be-worth-watching dept

As we get closer to the national do not call list actually going into effect, Missouri is putting their own state do not call list to the test. They’re suing EchoStar for calling at least 150 people whose phone numbers were on the list. That, by itself, isn’t a big deal. What will be interesting is to watch how this case goes, and whether or not it will have an impact on similar cases that will come under the federal list.
