Fancy A Vomiting Hippo Ring Tone?
Having just posted about how the ringtone market was struggling, I couldn’t resist posting this article about how the British Library is offering up some of its more interesting recorded sounds to be used as ringtones. It says they’re doing so in partnership with a commercial entity, but don’t say how much they’re planning on charging. The sounds in question are of various animal noises, which are sure to annoy folks around you much more than the annoying ringtones ever did.
