WorldCom's Iraq Contract Angers Wireless Competitors

I was a bit surprised last week when Worldcom (soon to be MCI again) announced last week that they had won the right to build a wireless network in Iraq, since (after all), they don’t even run such a network in the US. Now, in the wake of their fine from the SEC for their financial scandal, rival companies are lining up to complain. They’re saying that, having committed one of the largest accounting frauds ever should probably disqualify you (for at least some time) from lucrative government contracts.
