Qwest Considers Offering Television

from the gotta-offer-everything dept

While cable companies are making an effort to offer the “triple play” of services: phone, TV, and internet, the phone companies are a bit limited in what they can offer on the television front. That may be changing. SBC considered briefly buying DirecTV, but now Qwest is rumored to be working on a deal with a satellite TV provider to offer television in their package of services. Of course, this brings up the question of who do you trust less? Your TV provider or your phone service provider? Most people can’t stand either. At least if you keep the different services separate, it’s easier to switch when one of them pisses you off.
