Ex-WorldCom CFO's Defense: Everyone Was Doing It
from the that'll-work dept
Apparently, the ex-CFO of Worldcom has picked his strategy for defending his accounting fraud actions. He’s using the old schoolyard trick by basing his argument on the fact that everyone was participating in accounting fraud, so he doesn’t deserve to be any guiltier than anyone else. Of course, the proper response to that is that we should haul them all in, if that’s the case. Fraud is fraud, no matter what others are doing.
