EFF Pushes For US Unlicensed WiFi Spectrum
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is apparently pushing for more unlicensed WiFi spectrum in the US. More interesting, though, is the fact that they’re saying this is a “First Amendment” issue. They seem to be claiming that the government is obligated to give out more spectrum for unlicensed, because the government can’t act in ways to limit free speech. I’m not sure how well that argument will go over.
