Picture Perfect For 3G

Here’s a bizarre article from someone wandering around Hong Kong, and based on purely anecdotal evidence, deciding that users don’t care how fast their phone data networks are and couldn’t care less whether they’re signing up for a 2.5G or 3G network. I would agree that the important things on consumers’ minds tend to be price and “coolness factor” of the phones – but I do believe that the actual services offered will play a role in adoption. I agree that they don’t care about specifics of which kind of 3G is being used, or the exact speed of the data – but they do notice a difference in speeds and what it allows you to do.
