WSJ Online Launches Afternoon Report Blog

from the everyone's-blogging dept

Slowly, but surely, more majore news outlets are realizing the power of blogging. The latest is the quiet launch of a semi-blog at the Wall Street Journal online called “Afternoon Report”, which summarizes all the various stories from WSJ-affiliated sites that have happened since the morning. They don’t call it a blog, but it follows the same format. Of course, they only link to internal sites – as opposed to most other news organizations that realize the power of a blog goes somewhat beyond what’s going on within your own site. Still, it’s been amusing to watch how one after another, all these news organizations that were once trashing the concept have started adopting the format in one way or another.
