Leave it to an ad agency to figure out what women need in times of emotional crisis. In preparation for launching a 3G network in Australia, Euro RSCG determined “mobile phones are the new chocolate – instead of dashing to the fridge in times of emotional fragility, girls are now grabbing their mobiles phones and texting a support team of female friends.” It seems this conclusion was reached as a result of a survey conducted to prove that women are not technophobes.
