Americans Turn To Internet For Other Views

from the from-a-mainstream-publication dept

There’s something amusing about reading an article at ABCNews.com (even if it’s just an AP retread) about how many people aren’t using the mainstream media for news any more and are looking online for more local views and more “nuanced” opinions. As the article points out, you can find all sorts of opinions and articles out there – even if many of them are overly biased. While the mainstream media seems locked into simplistic soundbites of what various political leaders are saying, the internet is letting people get multiple viewpoints on any story – often from people who are much more involved with the issues.
