Faster Video For Wireless Devices?
There’s a story today over at News.com about a guy working on making video faster for mobile devices. It certainly would be nice if it works, but I won’t hold my breath just yet. For years we’ve heard stories about people and companies working on mobile video solutions and they usually don’t amount to much. Right now, many customers are still trying to figure out how to get text messaging to work, so I’m not sure they’re ready for video just yet. Down the road it may become a much bigger deal, but there have been too many stories about mobile video for a technology that still has a ways to go.
