Good Day To Be A Travel Dot Com

from the profits-galore dept

Apparently, today was a good day to be a travel dot com controlled by Barry Diller. First, Expedia announced “soaring” revenues followed quickly by saying that revenue jumped last quarter. Apparently, both companies (owned by Diller’s USA Interactive) say that the travel market is heating up again, and people are all booking their deals online. Of course, all that could come crashing down should a war start.
