Defense Dept., Firms Reach Wi-Fi Pact
The Defense Department has reached an agreement with technology companies concerning WiFi products. Recently the DoD had expressed concerns that WiFi would interfere with their radar systems, but the two sides have apparently talked it out and worked out a compromise that (like so many compromises) doesn’t make either side completely happy, but at least there’s no more fighting.
