Nokia Woos Linux Programmers

With new handsets and mobile devices coming out every day it is easy to lose sight of the importance of the software on those devices. As the devices increase in power they will need better software and applications. Device companies are fighting it out for developers. The key battle will be between Nokia and Microsoft. Nokia just released a Linux version of their Java SDK in response to the growing number of java programmers who use Linux workstations. I’m sure the other reason they released a Linux version is to attract as many anti-MS developers as possible.
