Mr. Koogle's Failed Return

from the beats-jail dept

Tim Koogle may not have to worry about going to a French prison any more, but that doesn’t mean everything’s working out great for him. Apparently, the massively hyped startup he went to after leaving Yahoo has already shut down, though it’s not entirely clear why. Despite getting nearly $15 million in early 2002 (an impressive feat by itself), the company was shut down after burning through just a few million. The VCs apparently didn’t like what they saw.
