Wi-Fi Hardware Shakeout Starting

Due to intense competition and thin margins, HP has decided to exit the Wi-Fi hardware market by the end of first quarter 2003. The market is being dominated by low cost manufacturers like Linksys and D-Link. But over time even they will have a tough time as Wi-Fi becomes standard on new computers.
