The RIAA Really Is Paranoid

from the they-really-need-to-calm-down dept

The folks at the RIAA really (really) need to calm down a little bit. When they found out that the Mexican Supreme Court recently moved offices to a “quieter” location away from noise downtown Mexico City, they wrote a letter claiming that all of the noise was due to pirated music, and that Mexico needs to crack down on its pirates. I can’t even pick which of the many possible jokes would fit best following that statement. It’s a jaw dropping look at just how paranoid the RIAA has become. They will now blame anything they possibly can on pirated music. How long until they start blaming earthquakes, hurricanes, terrorist attacks and train wrecks on the “evil” of pirated music?
