Congress Adjourns, Digital Copyright Fight Remains

from the nothing-doing-yet dept

Not really surprising, but Congress has adjourned without passing any of the variety of bills dealing with copyrights and digital information. They’re still hoping that the tech industry and Hollywood can work out their own differences, and leave legislation out of it – but that seems unlikely. Of course, having the government come up with good policy decisions on this topic seems unlikely as well, so there’s not much good news to report, except that we have a little more time before things get worse.
