Jesse Helms: Web Radio's Hero
from the surprising,-but-true dept
Salon takes a look at how Jesse Helms became the hero of web radio by preventing the original small webcasters bill from going through, and instead coming up with an amended version that, while not perfect, certainly seems better than previous offerings. The article also details why there are still plenty of issues with the bill, and why many smaller webcasters still aren’t very comfortable.
