The Web Needs More Soft-Core Porn

from the interesting-analysis dept

Larry Magid, who usually writes very family-oriented technology related columns is suggesting that what the web really needs is more soft-core porn. He says that people need to face up to the fact that teenagers are curious and are going to do what they can to get their hands on some porn. However, on the web, they’re likely to come across all sorts of extreme hard-core porn that goes well beyond what they should be seeing. If it were easier for them to find soft-core porn, they could satisfy their curiousity without being bombarded with “unhealthy, illegal, dangerous and disgusting” images. As he points out later in the article, though, he has no idea how this could be done.
