Kiosks Charge Phones On The Go

Whenever I’m travelling I make sure to drag along an extra “long life” battery for my mobile phone – because my phone always seem to die just when I need it most in some random airport. However, a British company is now testing phone recharging kiosks, which they’re going to put into airports. For a small fee, you can hook up your phone and charge it for enough time to juice it up to a level that gets you to where you need to go (or to the next kiosk). As the Register points out, however, if you really need one of these kiosks so badly in an airport, they suggest you try the (gasp!) pay phone that you’re probably standing next to already.
