Unions Discover The Web As An Organizing Tool

from the they-just-did? dept

Phew. Another chance for me to make use of my undergraduate degree in industrial and labor relations. A few years ago it suddenly became popular for unions to try organizing at various dot coms. They apparently gave up when those attempts were less than successful. However, now they’re discovering (oh my!) that the web is actually useful in helping to organize workers. I’m hoping they didn’t just realize this. It’s also good to see that they have a link in the article to my alma mater, which now apparently has their own website providing useful links to unions.
