Cheap Device Lets You Spy On Your Kids

from the trust-is-for-suckers dept

A company is claiming that they’ll soon have a GPS device on the market for less than $100 that parents can use to remotely check up on their child’s whereabouts. I can certainly see some reasonable uses for such a device, but the chances of them being misused seem great as well. I wonder what sort of children get raised when their parents make it clear from the very beginning that they don’t trust them? Besides, I imagine most children will very very quickly figure out how to mislead their parents with such a device in no time at all.
