AT&T Wireless Launches Microsoft Powered Mobile Suite

Last month AT&T and Microsoftagreed to work together on wireless data services. First they announced a wireless dispatch application. AT&T is taking the next today launching its Wireless Workware suite of services for enterprises. The suite includes hardware, software and wireless service allowing customers to remotely access corporate data. The mobile hardware is a Siemen’s branded PocketPC Phone Edition device that looks remarkably similar to T-Mobile’s PocketPC device. This is one of Microsoft’s biggest and most comprehensive mobile initiatives with a carrier. The first of many we suspect.
