Second Consumer Rights Bill Shows Up In Congress

from the with-support dept

It only took a day for Rich Boucher to follow up Zoe Lofgren’s consumer rights bill with his own consumer rights bill. It appears that Boucher has been working a bit longer on his, as he’s also lined up some industry folks, including one from Intel, to be there with him when he unveils the bill. It’s good to see that (finally) some people in Congress are looking out for consumers. Now we just need to see how far it goes before Hollywood clamps down by buying off lots of other Congresscritters.
