Openwave Browser Boasts Color, Cookies

One of the main features of SprintPCS Vision is their attempt at creating a richer WAP experience using XHTML. Other carriers will have the opportunity to offer a similar experience now that Openwave has officially launched version 6.1 of their mobile browser. The new browser has many new features including support for color screens, WAP 2.0, XHTML and even caching pages for offline viewing. The browser will be shipping on 35 handsets from 20 different manufacturers.
