Ad Hoc P2P WiFi Networks

An interesting article about Greenpacket, who says they’ve created a peer to peer technology that lets anyone create a wireless LAN over WiFi on the fly without an access point. While I could see this being useful in some instances, I’m not sure there’s a huge demand for it (at least not enough to support an entire company). I could see this being a nice software to include with WiFi cards or wireless devices, but not as a standalone offering.
