Stop Making Fun Of Me
It seems that Vodafone CEO Chris Gent is upset by the criticism in the British press about his compensation. In his defence the company’s chairman Lord MacLaurin said, “Vodafone doesn’t have to be based here[the UK]. It could be based anywhere in the world and not have this hassle.” The next most likely place would be the US. But with an attitude like that, I’m not sure the US would be the most hospitable place for Vodafone. American shareholders aren’t letting anything slide these days.
