Everyone Getting Fired For Email Abuse

A new study in the UK has found that the biggest reason for employees to get disciplined or fired these days is email abuse at work. Apparently mis-use of email now tops dishonesty, violence, and health & safety breaches as reasons to get in trouble at work. Of course, the biggest “abuse” of email is sending porn around. It still amazes me that people would ever use a work address (or even a work computer) for pornography. I guess I underestimate the need of some people to access (and share) their porn.
