Unsolicited SMS Growing

I don’t trust studies like this at all. The latest study basically says that 70% of people asked have no problem with SMS spam on their mobile phones – which makes no sense. Considering that the company that did the study, SMS.ac has a business based on text messaging, I’d say they’re just a little bit biased. It certainly wasn’t a random sample, since it was just a survey done on a website. I also wonder how the questions were phrased. Unfortunately, companies desparate to make money will see this as an opportunity to jump in and start SMSpamming.
