Tiny Web Device Due For Launch

I’ve been hearing more and more about DDI Pocket in Japan. It’s a wireless network from KDDI. They offer a flat-rate pricing plan that is signing up subscribers like crazy. Because it’s flat-rate, people are using it to let their laptops connect to the internet from home. Now, DDI Pocket is getting ready to launch a “web connecting device” which is smaller than a stick of chewing gum. It can be plugged into all different types of devices, such as digital cameras and MP3 players, to give them internet access.
