Pocket Shopping

Busy working mothers are the target for Pocket Shopper, a new mobile grocery shopping service from Britain’s Tesco. Users can put together grocery orders on their PDA and then send them to Tesco when they sync to their desktop or wirelessly. The application has a database of 20,000 items which users can browse and choose offline while on a train or subway. It might appeal to London’s Tube commuters, provided that they can actually get a seat during busy commute times.
