RIM Files Third Lawsuit Agains Good
First it was the messaging concept, then the device and now RIM is alleging Good is just plain cheating. In their third lawsuit again Good, RIM claims that the upstart messaging company “engaged in unfair competition, false advertising, trademark infringement and trademark dilution resulting in the unlawful use of the RIM and BlackBerry marks.” You can’t blame RIM for defending a market they practically invented. But suing Good isn’t going to save them in the long run. More and more devices are going to encroach on their space and eventually Microsoft will come up with a software solution.
