Voting By Phone

In the US we’re still grappling with e-government. We’re not even ready to think about m-government. But just as e-government initiatives are proving useful in the US (just think of the convenience of downloadable IRS forms)given high interenet penetration, m-government may suit countries with high mobile penetration. Given device limitations, m-government can’t be as robust as e-government, but due to the lower cost of wireless devices compared to PCs it could, in theory, reach many more citizens.
