WorldCom Offloads Wireless Customers
Some wireless carriers that had reseller agreements with WorldCom blamed the struggling telecom company for weak Q2 subscriber growth. But they should have little to complain about in Q3. Worldcom has finalized its exit from the wireless business and cut deals with AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Alltel and one unnamed carrier to take over existing subscribers.
