Digging Deep For ARPU
You just never know what will work. No one every anticipated SMS’s success. Could celebrity voicemail be the next ARPU booster? British carrier O2 implemented a system that features Austin Powers among other voices. Its been such a success that system vendor InterVoice-Brite claims that O2 achived a return investment in four months. Of course, I can’t imagine that celebrity voicemail is that expensive to implement. But I can just see carriers going crazy over this service now that a competitor has had some success.
