T-Mobile Brand Makes Debut in U.S. Cell Market

It seems VoiceStream is finally offering service in the California/Nevada area, and they’re doing so under the T-Mobile brand name – which is the first time they’ve used that brand in the US. It will be interesting to see how well it does, and if they will face difficulties building up a brand that many in the US probably aren’t familiar with. Right now, however, there’s more concern about T-Mobile’s use of the admittedly poor quality Cingular network in California. If customers get angry about the many many dead spots, it’s not going to help them build their business.
