Samsung's Nexio Entering A New Category Of Devices
Samsung is getting ready to introduce their Nexio handheld device in the US sometime soon. The Nexio is larger than a standard PDA, but smaller than a laptop. It’s the latest in a somewhat undefined area of “tweener” devices that fit somewhere between a PDA and a laptop. Wireless NewsFactor seems to like the idea of the Nexio, but since it’s running CE, it sounds like it will be significantly underpowered when compared with similar devices from OQO or Tiqit – which are planning to offer fully functional computers in a similar form factor.
