Check out Andrew Seybold’s take on the merger rumors. Not only is it a great summary of all the rumors, but Seybold makes a very interesting point that some of these mergers may not be necessary if additional spectrum becomes available via the FCC or Nextwave. He also believes that mergers along technology lines make sense, but given the speculative nature of the rumors, anything is possible.
