Feels Early
Our friends at Fierce Wireless are pointing to a post at everyone’s favorite and rumor and rant site, F***ed Company, indicating that Cingular will announce its acquisition of AT&T Wireless at the close of business today (7/3/02). We rarely believe anything we read at FC. Although Cingular buying AT&T isn’t at all far-fetched, the timing feels early. We would be less skeptical if this rumor popped up in Q3 or Q4. Oh well, we’ll know soon enough.
